Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a painful disorder where the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus starts to grow outside your uterus. During normal menstruation, this lining is shed, resulting in bleeding during your period, but because the tissue is on the outside of your uterus when you have endometriosis, there is nowhere for that tissue to go. Fortunately, this painful disorder is very treatable.
