Vulvodynia and Vestibulitis
Vulvodynia is pain in the vulva (the external part of female genitalia) that lasts for three months or more that isn’t caused by an infection or skin disorder. Vulvodynia is a common complaint and is characterized by:
- stinging,
- burning,
- irritation,
- and rawness in the entire vulva or in one specific point of the vulva.
Vestibulitis is pain in the opening of the vagina, with similar symptoms. Sometimes this pain occurs only during penetration or touch, sometimes the pain is constant.
Either way, we can provide treatment options so you can live without pain and enjoy sex again!
